DOVER CYBER academy offers online education FREE TO ANY DOVER STUDENT IN GRADES K-12. STUDENTS CAN ATTEND ANY EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, CLUBS, AND ATHLETICS.
Attendance
Attendance is measured using the combination of the following criteria:
- Daily Log in with work of five hours per day
- Be on pace with the course pacing guide
- Be in good academic standing (70% in course grade)
Students/Families have the ability to see the grades and pacing guide live as it updates at midnight daily.
If a student is ill, or unable to attend, please submit the excuse card using the link below within three school days of absence. Due to cyber being a flexible learning format, the cyber team can work with the family to ensure the student stays on pace and/or provide options.

Dover Cyber Academy is an extension of the Dover Area School District and follows the same Attendance procedures.

Elementary Cyber Program(K-5)
DASD uses Calvert Learning which is part of Edmentum for online programming.
Calvert Learning Informational Video
Calvert Learning Program uses the PLUS framework for elementary students. The PLUS framework actively engages students in PROJECTS. Projects allow students to apply what they LEARN, USE it in practical and meaningful ways, and then SHOW it to demonstrate mastery and build confidence.
Student Login Instructions:
Students log into the cyber program using the Edmentum website.
Scheduling:
Students in the K-5 settings are scheduled Year Long Courses.
Students are also scheduled for Exact Path Intervention in Reading and Math with a learning path.
Support:
Live Lessons with the content teachers happen every day where teachers teach daily and students are required to attend that.
Any students can request zoom with their content teachers at a mutually agreed time.
Live Help is available daily at different times.
Technology:
Dover Area School District does provide Chromebooks to all students. Students can purchase wireless mice or keyboards for their convenience.
Secondary Cyber Program (6-12)
Student Login:
Students log into the cyber program using the Edmentum website. EdOptions Academy is the provider for grades 6-8. EdOptions Academy
Scheduling:
Students in the 6-8 settings are scheduled courses that match the DAMS format
Students in the 9-12 settings are scheduled courses that match the DAHS block schedule format.
Support:
All cyber course teachers offer daily or weekly zoom for all courses.
Any students can request zoom with their content teachers at a mutually agreed time.
Live Help is available Mon-Friday between 8-5 pm Central Standard Time.
Live Lessons are all courses are available at different times during the day.
