School Counselor
Welcome!
My name is Shelly Flesch and I am the School Counselor at Leib Elementary School. I live in Hanover with my husband and two amazing daughters, Emily and Sydney. I graduated from Edinboro University in 1996 and began my career as a school counselor at Littlestown High School. I remained at Littlestown for 3 years and then in 1999 was fortunate to receive the position as an elementary school counselor at Leib. My passion has always been working with the younger students and it is my goal each day to make them smile just as much as they make me smile!
As the School Counselor, I teach classroom lessons, meet with students individually and in small groups (short-term, solution focused), and act as a resource for parents and staff. With the classroom lessons, I teach 6 scheduled guidance lessons per class, per grade level. The lesson content is developed based upon the 3 school counseling domains: Social/Emotional, Academic, and Career-related skills.
Please feel free to contact me if I can be of service to you or your child.
