DASD's Mass Notification System

The Dover Area School District is pleased to announce our use of ParentSquare for mass notifications. ParentSquare is a messaging system that allows the district to send mass notifications to employees, parents, the community, and students. ParentSquare works through Skyward's Family Access to provide you with the means to manage your contact sources and choose how you will be contacted for various purposes.

ParentSquare can provide you with the information through the following means:

  • Telephone/Cell Phone Call Electronically Recorded Messages
  • E-mails
  • App
  • Text Messages (Standard text message rates apply; the district does not pay for any text-message fees charged by your cellular provider)

In addition, the Dover Area School District uses ParentSquare to send daily attendance calls to notify parents if their child has unexcused absences.

To update your contact information, log into your Skyward Family Access Account and click the Skylert button to update your phone number, email, and text contacts.

If you do not have Skyward Family Access currently set up, please contact the school your child(ren) attend(s). Changes in the system will take effect the following day.

If you have forgotten your username or password information, you can try to reset it by clicking on "Forgot your Login/Password?" The link is just below the sign button on the External LinkDASD Skyward login page. If you cannot log in, please contact the school your child(ren) attends (s) for assistance.

If you do not have internet access, please contact the school.
