Welcome to North Salem Elementary School's web page. North Salem is a Kindergarten through 5th grade school in the Dover Area School District with an enrollment of approximately 400 students. The staff at NSE strive to create a safe, welcoming and encouraging learning environment for all of our students. We strive to model PROUD behaviors (Perseverance, Respect, Ownership, Unity, Dedication) in all that we do. Please contact us if you have any questions or are in need of assistance.
Arrival/Dismissal
Students may enter the building beginning at 8:40 AM. Dismissal begins at 3:35 PM. The car rider line for parent pickups will open at approximately 3:00 PM on the right side of the building. Cars will drive around the right of the building and to the back of the school. Please observe the 5 MPH speed limit while driving around the school. In order to pick up your child from the car rider line, a car rider pass is required.
Should a student need to be picked up during the school day, the parent/guardian will need to park in the front of the school and come in to the office to sign the student out.
