Withdrawing from the Dover Area School District

Families that are moving out of the Dover Area School District must complete the appropriate form below and return to the school where your child attends. Your child will not be officially withdrawn from Dover Area School District until we have received notification from the new district that your student has been enrolled.  Please note, you are still subject to truancy citations during this time.

NOTE FOR STUDENTS WITHDRAWING TO ATTEND CYBER SCHOOL

For students who are withdrawing from the Dover Area School District to attend an outside cyber charter school placement, but still remain a Dover resident the student must remain in attendance at their assigned school until the Dover Area School District receives official notification of the student's enrollment start date. An enrollment application process does not constitute a start date. If the student elects to not come to school until the official start date is received, the student will be marked absent and truancy will be pursued.
