Returning to Dover Area School District from Another District

Families enrolling back into the Dover Area School District and already have/had a Skyward account will need to contact [email protected] or Mrs. Hake at 717-292-3671 ext. 80113 to schedule an appointment.  

You must bring the following documents to the enrollment appointment:

  • Biological Parent/Legal Guardian must be present to sign the paperwork
  • Copy of custody papers (if applicable)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Records
  • Copy of last report card / Transcript (Grades 7th–12th)  
  • Two Forms of Proof of Residency - A lease agreement or mortgage/property deed may be used to determine residency.  If you do not own the property or do not have a lease agreement, then all of the following must be done to show proof of residency:
    • Notarized letter from the property owner permitting to live at the residence or (residency affidavit). Two (2) of the following need to accompany the notarized letter or residency affidavit:
      • Driver’s License/State ID showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Pay stub showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Utility bill showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Car Registration showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Copy of tax return showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.

Once you have met with Mrs. Hake and given all necessary documents, you will be given your student's transportation information and start date.  You will be scheduled to meet with your student’s building secretary before the first day of school. 7th– 12th grade students will be required to meet with their guidance counselor to complete a schedule before their first day of school to determine appropriate placement.
