Returning to Dover Area School District from Another District

Families enrolling back into the Dover Area School District must complete our online registration process. If you have questions about this process, please contact [email protected] or call Mrs. Hake at 717-292-3671 ext. 80113. Please note that you must use a computer to complete the registration process. If you need access to a computer, the Dover Administration Office does have one available on a first come first serve basis. You must be able to provide the following documents to complete the enrollment process:

  • Biological Parent/Legal Guardian must be a Dover Resident and completing the enrollment.
  • Copy of custody papers (if applicable)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization Records
  • Copy of last report card / Transcript (Grades 7th–12th)  
  • Two Forms of Proof of Residency - A lease agreement or mortgage/property deed may be used to determine residency.  If you do not own the property or do not have a lease agreement, then all of the following must be done to show proof of residency:
    • Notarized letter from the property owner permitting to live at the residence or (residency affidavit). Two (2) of the following need to accompany the notarized letter or residency affidavit:
      • Driver’s License/State ID showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Pay stub showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Utility bill showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Car Registration showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.
      • Copy of tax return showing the parent’s name and the address being used for residency.

Once you have completed the online registration process and provided Mrs. Hake with all necessary documents, you will be sent an email with your student's enrollment confirmation and start date. Transportation information will also be emailed to you and the school building will then be in contact with you to provide school information and answer any questions you may have.
