Lunch Hero Day holds special meaning this year as we dedicate it to the memory of Miss Dusty (Jackson), who passed away recently.
Miss Dusty was more than a cafeteria worker — she was a friend, a warm smile, and a steady presence in the lives of our students and staff. Her kindness, dedication, and love for our school community made her a true hero in every sense of the word.
Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. This Friday, we invite everyone to honor Miss Dusty’s memory by sharing your stories and memories or simply taking a moment to reflect on her impact.
