Congratulations Dover Area High School!

Today, the Dover Area High School received a $1,000 mini-grant from the Center for Traffic Safety, presented by State Farm. During the initial study in the fall, ninety-two (92) students out of one hundred (100) were observed wearing their seatbelts as they left the parking lot. During the second observation, ninety-six (96) out of one hundred (100) student drivers observed were wearing their seat belts for a 96% usage rate. That’s a 4% increase in usage, the HIGHEST INCREASE IN USAGE for the York-Adams competition! In addition to the $1000 mini-grant, the school has the use of a photo booth kiosk at a future student event! Thank you to our Northern York County Regional Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO), Andrew Shaffer, for submitting the school for the competition. Thank you to Missy Sweitzer from The Center for Traffic Safety and Mike Murray from State Farm. Congratulations DAHS!
