PA CareerLink® York County Opporunities

The following information was shared from PA CareerLink® York County for any of our students (or families):

Upcoming Job Fairs:

• Northeastern High School Career/Job Fair for students, parents, and adults from all over York county and surrounding areas.  Location: 300 High Street Manchester, PA 17345. When: April 4th, 12:30 pm - 6 pm. Why: To help students and adults in the community to obtain employment and career opportunities.
• 24th Annual York County Cooperative Job Fair. April 19, 11am-4pm at Crispus Attucks.

 Other Opportunities:

• The Department of Transportation is accepting applications for Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee through February 21, 2023. Applicants must obtain their CDL PERMIT by the first day of employment, and then PennDOT employees will train them to sit for their CDL license, at which time they will receive a promotion to Transportation Equipment Operator A, with a pay raise.

• Learn to drive a dump truck and other PennDOT equipment – you will not be driving tractor-trailer trucks.
