2026-2027 Sport Physicals
The Dover Area School District will be hosting two in house sports physical nights prior to the 2026-2027 school year. The first night is Thursday, May 28th, and the second night is Tuesday, July 28th. Please use the links below to sign your athlete(s) up for a spot to have their sports physical completed. These two nights are open to athletes whether they participate in the Fall, Winter, Spring, or multiple seasons.
PIAA regulations require that all students of the Dover Area School District who wish to participate in interscholastic athletics and cheerleading must receive a physical examination prior to their participation in practices or contests.
For the 2026-2027 school year, the Dover Area School District will be offering physicals on Thursday, May 28th, and Tuesday, July 28th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dover Area High School.
Our in-house physicals are only $15 (cash or check payable to “DASD”). These nights are a great opportunity to check something off your to do list. Get the sports physical scheduled and completed, so there is one less thing for you to worry about prior to your kid’s sports season. The physicals are good for the whole school year, so it doesn’t matter if your student is a Fall, Winter, Spring, or more than one season athlete. Even if your student is unsure if they want to play a sport, having it completed and on-file for a last minute decision will save you time and money.

The PIAA CIPPE form is located on the district’s website (www.doversd.org); select Athletics, click on Athletic Forms, and then click on Sports Physical Packets. The first five sections, of the physical form, need to be completed prior to arriving at the school.
Athletes, who are unable to attend either physical night at school, it will be your responsibility to contact your family doctor or an urgent care facility for the physical. The physical must be completed on the appropriate PIAA CIPPE six-page physical form. No other physical forms will be accepted and the physical must be done and dated by the physician on or after May 1, 2026.

1) No learner’s permits or other physician forms will be signed.
2) Please remember to bring contacts or glasses for the vision exam.
