Route 74 Water Main Replacement Starting March 3, 2025

The Dover Area School District has been notified that the second phase of the Route 74 water main replacement will commence on Monday, February 3, 2025. The closure should be between George Street and Sky Top Trail. This work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During these times, traffic will be delayed due to the roadway being reduced to a single lane. Both PennDOT and Dover Township have instructed the company doing the work that they must allow the school buses and emergency personnel through the work zone and not cause them any delays. Please allow a few more minutes than usual if you need to travel through the work zone if you drive to school or if your child is a car rider.
