The goal of the Human Resources Department is to establish and maintain a quality personnel service system for the district. Our employee relations philosophy is team oriented and people driven with a focus on accountability and results designed to realize the potential of our employees who support the learning needs of students. The Human Resources Department of the Dover Area School District maintains adequate and accurate personnel records for all employees, facilitates all stages of the hiring process and oversees the district’s salary and benefit programs. The HR Department participates is the district negotiation process for support and professional association contracts and is responsible for all employee communication, The HR Department also oversees the district employee performance evaluation review program, participates in the personnel management policy review process, and works to meet the all federal and state required compliance mandates
