Homeless/McKinney Vento

We have become increasingly aware that there are families in our district struggling with food and housing insecurity. We have many wonderful resources in the Dover area, but it can be challenging to know where to start. The Dover Area School District is committed to helping our students who are experiencing homelessness through the McKinney-Vento Act. If your family is in a temporary or inadequate living situation due to a loss of housing, your child might be eligible for certain educational rights and services.
