The Dover Area School District educates over 3,600 students in grades K-12. Located just north of York, the school district offers distinguished student achievement, exemplary instruction and award-winning performing arts and athletics. New iPads, wireless classrooms, and advanced technology provide students with superior learning opportunities.

  • Strong sports program with numerous division championships in cheerleading, girls track, girls cross country, girls soccer, girls swimming, field hockey, girls volleyball, softball, girls basketball, football, baseball, boys track, boys basketball, boys cross country, and boys swimming. In addition to earning league championships in girls volleyball, girls basketball, county championships in girls soccer, and district championships in cheerleading.

  • DASD students excel academically both at the state and national levels.

  • Strong and active Career Technical Education (CTE) Program. District, state, and nation qualifiers for DECA, USGIF National Academic Achievement Award (GIS program), student run school store, First Capital Federal Credit Union student run branch, Ag Mechanics students constructed for PA Game Commission, Iron gates constructed for National Wildlife Turkey Foundation, award winning designs at the Pennsylvania Farm Show, Numerous Keystone Degrees (Pennsylvania State Level Award) American FFA Degrees (National Level Award), State Proficiency Winner in Specialty Crop Production (State Level Award), and FFA Creed Speaking State Finalists.
